The Homogeneous Unit Principle suggests that outreach is most effective when carried out in the context of a discrete group defined by similarity in cultural background. Many assume that this is the best way to conduct their ministries in local churches and in cross cultural settings. But what does the Bible say? Rev Dr David Williams is the Director of Development and Training for CMS Australia and teaches at St Andrew’s Hall, the CMS Cross-Cultural Training College in Melbourne. His presentation will be relevant to anyone who is thinking through appropriate patterns for Biblical Ministry.
