The Miracle School Ministry is a gospel focused ministry which was established in Lahore in 1999, set up to help children and young people who live in bonded slavery in the Brick Kilns. The vision of The Miracle School Ministry is to provide free education to enslaved and orphaned children and youth, known as ‘Brick kiln kids’. They have miserable lives. Discrimination, poverty, illiteracy and an unawareness of human rights are major factors in their situation. The children and young people are helped by the Miracle Brick Kiln School, which shows them compassion and seeks to change their lives through education. Currently there are 650 children enrolled. They are given free education, medical care, food, books, clothes, etc, as well as Scripture studies. There are currently 150 teenagers in their Miracle Youth Group who will be given Scripture studies using the Moore College PTC material. The Miracle School Ministry is committed to enriching these children with strong moral values, good education and skills that will enable them to become productive responsible citizens of their country. Enhancing their work, they also run Women Empowerment programs.
The Centre for Global Mission has partnered with The Miracle School Ministry to provide theological resources which will be used to assist with training in the Miracle Youth Group, Women Empowerment programs and for their teaching staff. They are currently using the Moore College PTC material in English.
