The Church Missionary Society (CMS) is a fellowship of Christian people and churches committed to global mission. CMS works with churches to set apart long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The CMS fellowship is made up of six state branches and the federal office, CMS Australia (CMS‑A). CMS‑A has the responsibility of training missionaries, placing them with international partners and providing pastoral care and support for them while on location.
The Centre for Global Mission has partnered with CMS‑A to provide theological resources and online tools which can be used by their missionaries in various locations around the world. These resources are being used by missionaries to assist in the training of Christian leaders and lay-people. The translation of the Moore College PTC material enables CGM to provide these resources in various languages including English, French and Swahili.
