The Anglican Diocese of Mara is one among 28 Dioceses under the umbrella of the Anglican Church of Tanzania. The boundaries of the Diocese of Mara cover the whole of the administrative area of Mara Regions with its respective districts of Musoma (rural and urban), Serengeti and Bunda. The vision of the Diocese is to see lives transformed through the power of the gospel. The Department of Christian Education provides professional development for their clergy.
The Centre for Global Mission has partnered with the Diocese of Mara to provide theological training material which will assist with their training and teaching programmes. They are currently using the Moore College PTC material in English and Swahili. There are ongoing translations of the PTC material into Swahili.
