The Anglican Church of Madagascar is in the Province of the Indian Ocean. The first Anglican missionary arrived in Madagascar in 1864. In 1874 the diocese of Madagascar was founded. There are now six Anglican dioceses in Madagascar, including the Anglican Diocese of Antananarivo.
The Centre for Global Mission has partnered with the Diocese of Antananarivo to provide theological training material which will assist with their training and teaching programmes. They are currently using the Moore College PTC material in English, French and Malagasy. There are ongoing translations of the PTC material into French and Malagasy. CGM is looking for funds to continue the Malagasy translation work.
